Are you ready to make your mark? If you're a Mechanical Designer, we have an exciting opportunity for you!

Woodward is looking for a Mechanical Designer to join our Fuel Systems & Controls engineering group. They will be responsible for design, CAD modeling, and drafting of new aerospace fuel system components while working on a team of engineers and designers. Design work ranges from housings and valves to tooling and test fixtures. We're interested in candidates with drafting experience, strong mechanical aptitude, problem solving skills, and basic manufacturing knowledge to join our team.

What you will be doing...

• Work within an engineering team to create new mechanical component designs and design documentation

• Create 3D models and drawings in parametric-based CAD software for complex fuel system components

• Understand functional and manufacturing-based challenges with new designs and participate in problem solving exercises

• Use Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing as well as internal or industry standards to define component designs. Use dimensional stackup studies to assess assembly-level designs

What we are looking for...

• 2-year technical degree, certificate, or applicable experience required

• At least 5 years of designer experience or combination of Bachelors degree or International equivalent and experience required
