Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provide technical services and support for the following areas:
- Design, implement, and manage the organization's network infrastructure using Cisco technology.
- Monitor network performance and integrity.
- Resolve issues tiers of support have escalated by troubleshooting cloud and local infrastructure.
- Automate tasks and monitor their effectiveness. Support issues related to WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, security, and remote access solutions.
- Work with Senior Security Engineer to create, oversee, and test security measures (e.g. access authentication and disaster recovery).
- Communicate with users when needed.
- Maintain complete technical documentation.
- Implement and manage Microsoft Azure Cloud Infrastructure.
- Have a base knowledge of O365 Defender, InTune and Purview
- Respond to persistent security threat alerts, malware and ransomware threats along with the Senior Network Security Engineer
- Perform network assessments
- Participate in the administration and maintenance of the remote monitoring and management system: update agent scripts, respond to alerts, monitor dashboard, and periodic system review
- Work with the IT Team to Engineer projects, identify new products and solutions, and research solutions for existing clients
- Document maintenance for all computer systems and network infrastructure
- Communication with internal customers as required: keeping them informed of incident progress, notifying them of impending changes or agreed outages
- Be available for after hour emergencies as defined by department policies

Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Must have a minimum of 3 years' experience working in a similar role
- Licenses/Certifications:
- Certifications in Cisco Network, Network Security, or Microsoft Azure.
- Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Proven experience as an IT Engineer, Network Engineer, or similar role.
- Experience with Cisco Network and Network Security.
- Experience with Meraki a plus.
- Knowledge of system security and data backup/recovery.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
- Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude.
- Excellent communication skills.
